Dilation, a giant 3D modeled cranium, is a projection mapped installation in which viewers will place their head inside the cavernous sculpture; as if their body has extended beyond its corporeal limits. Using real-time face recognition, the viewer’s face is projected onto the exterior of the sculpture while inside its hollow interior, the person is immersed by dream-like sequences of abstract animations created by Nitcha Tothong.
